The collection of stories "At home is the worst" is a cult work of the late Israeli humorist, playwright, satirist and director Ephraim Kishon. Since 1982, when it appeared in Croatian translation, it has seen many editions. It is the best-selling book of Kishon in the world and the most read Hebrew book after the Bible, and Kishon's books have been printed in 45 million copies and translated into forty languages. Through 35 stories, we follow the life of this great writer and his family and learn about "the best of all women" and sons Rafi and Amir and daughter Renana. These everyday incidents and accidents, filled with huge amounts of humor and fun, are something that every reader (and member of any family) can identify with, so it is not surprising that the great interest in this title has not waned over the years, and the book is also included in the reading list. It is about one of those timeless, eternally good books.
