Clementis Francesca

Summary

Francesca Clementis: You Can't Buy Love

Mille discovers that, after four children, she is expecting a baby again, twins, which leads Tim to a chaotic state of mid-life crisis, after which he rushes to his high school sweetheart, Allison. He imagines what his parallel life would look like if they ended up together, but his indecision later burns him. Max and Tess, on the other hand, have to sell everything to survive and move from a luxury neighborhood to the so-called Poop Valley, where she pretends to be a yoga instructor at a local school and teacher Jerry starts flirting with her. The story seemed a bit naive to me due to the fact that after the total bankruptcy due to the organic food restaurant, they got the chance to open the same again due to Max's new acquaintances and the continuation of the functioning of their marriage only for the sake of principle when it is obvious that he is sweeping the most important problems under the rug by putting Lara before his happiness. Graham reveals that he has a 20-year-old daughter, and after all, he hides that truth from his wife, which I also found silly, unfair to Fiona. Basically, although the writing style is excellent and it made me laugh on a couple of occasions, all in all I would not recommend this story. Maybe it is more pleasant to read in another edition, but this one from Knjigotisk annoyed me a bit.
