Summary
Yann Queffelec: Dark Enchantment
"Mark Frosen. That's my name. I'm forty years old. I have no job, no money, no friends, no house, I live at the expense of women, and when that account runs out, I leave. My youthful dreams have failed. I wanted to create works of art, instead I went to war, a little public speaking, a little prison - and all for the sake of art. I'm addicted to three drugs: poetry, pastis and the night. I like sex eventually bored, but I have to somehow earn my living. I have everything it takes to please people and not to be liked by them." However, they also claim that they read the novel whose main character is the embodiment of the dark side of man in one sitting.
