Summary
Shakespeare William: Titus Andronicus
As one of Shakespeare's earliest plays, the tragedy Titus Andronicus is certainly an unusual work by the world's greatest playwright. But it is a very typical Renaissance piece. It abounds in cruelty, violence, revenge, bloodshed and horrors. That play shows that Shakespeare already knew the taste of a wider audience at the beginning of his work.
