Summary
Sveva Casati Modignani: Vanilla and Chocolate
Penelope, after eighteen years of Andrea's selfishness and numerous infidelities, decided to leave her husband. She retreats to the seclusion of a small town, to an uninhabited family villa, in order to establish inner peace. Andrea, at first shocked by her actions, is suddenly faced with new obligations: the care and attention required by each of their three children, household duties, everything that Penelope was doing until then. Andrea's shock and anger, under such conditions, disappeared, but as the true picture of his marriage slowly dawned on him, he realized how much he misses and means his wife, but also, through all these new family tasks and incidental entanglements, he finally got to know his own children and established sincere contact with them. He thinks about getting closer to his wife again, but the question arises, what does Penelope think about Andrea's return?!
