The book contains 210 postcards printed in the first fifty years of the Vikovica postcard industry (the first postcard of Vinkovci in postal circulation was in 1898, and it was probably printed in that year), selected and presented according to the motif and time of creation.

The presented postcards, among which there are several rarities, are part of the collection of the family of author Drago Širić, which contains over one hundred thousand postcards from all over the world, including twenty thousand from Croatia, of which more than six hundred are from Vinkovci.
