In June 1992, the Law on Decorations and Recognitions of the Republic of Croatia was adopted. It established three areas of merit and introduced decorations for each area, as well as introduced the Charter of the Republic of Croatia and the Award of the Republic of Croatia. This book presents the Croatian system of decorations as a whole, and the Law on Decorations and Recognitions with comments, explanations and examples from practice is also printed. In addition to decorations, medals were also processed. Of special value is the historical overview of decorations in our country and in the world, as well as the regulations related to their wearing.
