Bordeaux, Albert
Albert Bordeaux (Thonon-les-Bains, 12/05/1865 - Thonon-les-Bains, 29/12/1937) - French researcher. A mining engineer, in 1898 he was appointed director of a gold mining company in Forest Hill, California, where he moved in January 1899. He remained there until 1901, exploring the Sierra Nevada. In April 1902, he was in charge of the industrial mission in Siberia. He studied Russian in Tomsk, after which he traveled all over Siberia, and even reached Manchuria.
