Politička povijest Hrvatske I-II.

Summary
Josip Horvat: Political History of Croatia I-II.
PREFACE
The history of the Croatian people can be divided, for easier overview, into these four periods: I. from the settlement to 1102; II. from 1102 to 1526; III. from 1527 to 1790; and IV. from 1790 to 1 Dec. 1918.
In this "Introduction" I will limit myself to the year 1848, because the further course of Croatian history, as the main task of this book, was undertaken by Mr. Josip Horvat.
In addition, I will present the cultural history of the Croats in the broadest outline, because without it there is no real understanding of political history.
I also took into account - as is my duty - some new scientific results, and left aside all those opinions and speculations some workers, which have no objective scientific significance.
