This manual (also known by the Latin name Enchiridion fontium historiae Croaticae) serves as a key collection of sources for the period of Croatian national rulers. The work is structured to provide not only the sources, but also a methodological framework for their study: Introductory section: General considerations on history and historical method. A comprehensive overview of Croatian historiography up to that time. Plan and division of the entire work. The Age of the People's Rulers (Access): A survey of source collections relevant to this period. Inscriptions and records: Epigraphic monuments important for early Croatian history. Documents and documents: Documents such as charters and grants issued by rulers. It contains 21 pictures (panels) with depictions of inscriptions and monuments. It includes two important historical maps, one of which is "Historical-topographical map of the Kingdom of Croatia-Dalmatin around the year 1100." (authors Luka Jelić and Ferdo Šišić).
