Because whoever takes a look at this magnificent church, it will remain in his mind forever, if he only knows how to appreciate the true beauty and craftsmanship. And those of the Croats who visit this church often must like it all the more, because this ancient building can be presented to him in the spirit, as in what a panorama of his people. It was I have witnessed famous, happy and joyful events, but also many unhappy and sad ones, starting from the time of St. Ladislaus, who first reached for the Croatian crown and founded the diocese, from whom the administrators and directors often gave a new movement to the whole nation, until the happily reigning emperor Francis Joseph, who first honored the capital of Croatia with his campaign. to the all-ruling creator.
