The book contains a lot of historical data and facts that are supported by a rich literature, and it documents the time of the creation of the Croatian state and the politics of the first Croatian president Dr. Franjo Tuđman. On more than 500 pages, everything about the important events that marked the beginning of the creation of the Croatian state and about the events in the Croatian and Yugoslavian state leaders on the eve of the historic day of the declaration of independence of Croatia on June 25, 1991.
Academic Rudolf, who was also the first minister of foreign affairs in the independent Republic of Croatia, wrote it based on his own notes from the very time of the creation of the Croatian state. But in addition to bringing invaluable content from the author's personal archives and his memories, the book, full of historical-legal acts, recorded meetings and debates, documents and syntheses, also makes a great scientific contribution to the newest Croatian historian.
