Dr. sci. Jozo Marević: Croatian-Latin Encyclopedic Dictionary - Volumes 1 and 2
The dictionary has about 250,000 entries, more than 800,000 sub-entries and approximately three million syntagmatic expressions. Classical Latinity, medieval (ecclesiastical) Latinity, modern and recent Latinity are represented in the dictionary, with special emphasis on Croatian Latinists. It was printed in two volumes and on a total of 3126 pages.
For Croatian-Latin encyclopedic dictionary - volumes 1 and 2, the author Jozo Marević received two awards in 1998: the state award of the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Croatia for the most successful edition in 1997 in the field of social and humanistic editions and the "Mate Ujević" award for achievement in lexicography for 1997 from the Lexicographic Institute "Miroslav Krleža".
