Summary
Tihomir Dujmović: Who forbids my columns?
Although as a well-read and popular author, Dujmović has experienced that in the last ten years, from January 3, 2000 until today, he has been banned from writing three times and television shows have been banned several times. In the introduction to the book, Dujmović writes extremely openly about the details of these bans, which is quite unusual for our times, that is, brave. For the first time, they not only banned his column, but also fired him from Slobodna Dalmacija. Then, because of his writing in Glas Slavonia, he was fired from the Registry of Emigrants. He could have avoided being fired from Matica by stopping writing in Glas Slavonia, but he preferred to accept the dismissal rather than stop writing. And he continued, in Večernji list, in his own style. And then his pen, his basic tool for work, was taken from him there twice.
The book "Who forbids my columns" collected Dujmović's most read columns published in Večernji list in one place; some columns published by the author on the Dnevno.hr portal; one column for which he was notified of termination of cooperation and a column that was openly banned.
