Summary
Ivica Raguž: Catholicism
In the preface of the book, the author warns that the considerations in the book have no pretensions to a systematic interpretation of Catholicism. Since life cannot be put into the conceptual drawers of the system, neither can faith, because faith is life in Christ. Reflections try to express the life of the Catholic Church, so that Catholics can live the life of the Church even more with this expression. The author hopes that these limited and modest theological expressions will be life-like, that they will nevertheless radiate life, the life of the Catholic Church. The preface also points out that the theological statements in the book here take the form of theses. Such an approach to Catholicism in the form of theses, despite its weakness due to incomplete theological reasoning, seems to us much more appropriate in this time of dilution of Catholicism and faith in Jesus Christ. The aim of theses is to give clarity to Catholics, to remind them of the essence of Catholicism, so that they themselves will be more Catholic, so that they can gratefully admire the beauty and strength of Catholicism.
