Summary
Ivana Bodrožić, Vendi Vernić: Klara Čudastvara
Klara Čudastvara is seven years old and alone with her grandmother at the edge of the forest without any children nearby to play with, spending two months of summer vacation.
On the first morning after her arrival, when the little girl wakes up and opens the window, an unusual visitor sneaks into her room and an uncertain battle for her soul begins. As soon as she goes on her first adventure in the forest after breakfast, everyone follows her, trying to win her over and overcome her feelings.
At the end of the day, after a series of adventures in which she pushes her limits, climbs higher than ever, wanders deeper into the forest than before, meets unknown creatures, gets into big troubles and problems, saves someone's life, and learns something new, Klara the Wonder Woman herself makes a decision about which of them she will allow to accompany her through life. Fear, boredom, ignorance, imagination or faith in one's own abilities.
'Klara Čudastvara' is a book about the virtues and flaws that every child encounters at an early school age, when he begins to get to know the world and becomes independent for the first time. A timeless theme and a beautiful story for the whole family.
