The three basic pillars of the Civilizational Inferno are certainly representations that reveal three different possibilities about the survival of forgetting, reminiscence of topics that are subject to (un)forgetting, and messianic speaking through fragmentary self-citation. Determining the exact number of topics covered in the book is an impossible task, at least not in the key of interpretation that would satisfy the basic laws of literary theory.
