In the last 24 hours, more than 100,000 hectares of tropical forests were destroyed. Fully 13 million tons of toxic chemicals have been released into our environment. More than 45,000 people died of starvation - 38,000 of them children; more than 130 species of plants and animals have become extinct due to human activity. And all this happened in the last 24 hours.

Research by the United Nations showed that half of the world's arable land was destroyed in the last century. 50% of the world's forests have been destroyed. Also, 80% of the grasslands and 40% of the Earth's land surface are suffering from soil degeneration, while 70% of the main marine sources of fish have been destroyed.

And all this is just the tip of the iceberg...
