Summary
George Ohsawa: The Art of Peace
The book contains lectures that George Ohsawa gave after World War II. Originally the book was called "The Book of Judo", but the first English edition was titled "The Art of Peace", because the first goal of all martial arts is to maintain peace, i.e. to turn enemies into friends. Judo is presented as a unifying principle of Far Eastern philosophy and science.
