Storia del Regno di Dalmazia e di Croazia

Lučić Ivan

Summary

Giovanni Lucio (Ivan Lučić): Storia del regno di Dalmazia e di Croazia

Storia del regno di Dalmazia e di Croazia from 1896 is the first Italian edition of the famous work De Regno Dalmatiae et Croatiae libri sex by the Croatian historian Ivan Lučić (Giovanni Lucio), the father of Croatian historiography

The edition is an Italian translation from the Latin language started by Mgr. P. C. Miossich, and completed and edited by Luigi Cesare Pavissich.

It is also interesting that the portrait at the beginning of the book actually shows Coriolanus Cippico, not Ivan Lučić.
