Summary
Dragiša Vasić: Selected Works
On the pages of this book, readers have the opportunity to re-encounter the following works of Dragiša Vasić: the novel Crvene Magle and the short stories U žežim (A Man Speaks After the War), Resimić Bubnjar, Rekonvalescenti and Pogibija Jaći Medenica. Dragiša Vasić is one of the most important Serbian writers. In all of his works, we find images of war at the center of which is an individual - a subject displaced from his own life and placed in the framework of some other reality - devastated and dehumanized. The whirlwind of war took peace with it, and it also brought emptiness that will eventually fill all segments of human existence and become the unrest of the century.
