Judita (written in 1501, published in 1521), in versi haruacchi slozhena.., is a religious epic in the Croatian language and the Chakavian dialect, inspired by the Old Testament heroine Judith, the events of the time (Ottoman penetration into Croatian lands), and at the same time he is an interpreter of the Christian worldview.
