Until now, entire libraries of books, novels, poems, travelogues, essays, etc. have been written about Split. Marović, Marko Uvodić Spliticanin, Marin Bego, Tin Ujević, Bogdan Radica, Jure Kaštelan and Veljko Barbieri, who will easily convince the reader that the atmosphere of Split, despite all the changes and passing of time - and even centuries - always remains the same. In the book, as an addition, there is also the work Splitska govorenja oliti Libar Marko Uvodić Splićanin from 1919. It is an interesting fact that this edition is not mentioned in any later published Libro or in any selection from Uvodić's works. The book contains detailed notes about the represented writers, and is illustrated with drawings by the famous Split painter Anđ Uvodić, the brother of Marko Uvodić from Split
