Homer: The Odyssey
The leader of the Ithacans in the Trojan War - Odysseus, after the destruction of Troy, sets off with his companions towards his kingdom - Ithaca. The Odyssey describes Odysseus' ten-year return from war, full of trials and incredible twists and turns set between heaven and earth, mystical landscapes, gods and their favorites and adversaries. Like the Iliad and the Odyssey, it has a unique composition that Aristotle calls interwoven. The fundamental work of the entire world poetry, on which centuries of existence have left an indelible qualitative mark.
