Internal medicine or medicine for internal diseases belongs to the group of practical medicine. The field of internal medicine is very broad, and the rapid development of this branch of practical medicine conditioned the division of internal medicine into even narrower, specialized areas. The textbook is divided into General and Special parts. In the general part, the types and symptoms of diseases, general methods of diagnosing internal diseases and the basics of treatment of patients with internal diseases are presented. The special part includes: diseases of the heart and blood vessels, diseases and disorders of the respiratory system, diseases and disorders of the organs of the digestive system, diseases and disorders of the urinary system, disorders of the hematopoietic system, diseases of the endocrine system, and more important diseases and disorders of the locomotor and immune system.
