Richard Sorabji is completely unknown to the Croatian readership. This self-professed great man who spent his working life as a historian of philosophy at Oxford wrote several important works in the history of philosophy and edited several extensive ancient commentaries on the work of Aristotle. Sorabji states the importance of judging emotions and passions, desires and wills, which must be therapeutically disciplined in order to be able to modify them.
