Summary
Freimut Duve: About war in the soul
The book is a collection of the author's rather intimate and emotional thoughts. It includes reflections on German history and politics, on the Cold War, on European integration processes, the misconception and guilt of Europe for the war in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, minority rights, racism and population migration. One part of the book is autobiographical. In it, the author writes about his father and mother who were from Osijek. Freimut Duve was the first European politician who officially and publicly called the Serbian aggression against Croatia and BiH genocide.
