Summary
Danijel Tatić: Little Secrets of the Great War
The book "Little Secrets of the Great War" consists of stories interwoven with controversies, unknown or lesser-known events and aspects of the First World War, which aim to guide the reader into the military or political background of the war. Outwitting the opponent plays a big role in the set of circumstances on which the predominance of the pendulum of war luck depends. There are no rules in this outwitting, and it is not only aimed exclusively at the opponent, but also tries to outwit one's own ally, because one's own survival and success in the war is the primary goal for the achievement of which an ally is always needed, both the one who will show himself "side by side" on the battlefield, and the one who will try to blunt the critical edge of neutral countries and sensitize their public to their own interests through political agitation. That's why wars are won at the table rather than on the battlefield, and the glory of victories on the field is a game show for the masses who bleed on it.
