The manuscript represents a coherent collection of sources on Croatian history from ancient times to the latest era (more than 120 documents). In the introductory part, the author explained the methodology of his work, defined key terms, presented an overview of previous research and presented a list of works from which individual texts originate. All documents have short introductory articles that explain the historical circumstances of the emergence of certain problems. The content of the manuscript points readers to key events and processes that took place over the course of fifteen centuries. In the collected sources, topics from state legal and political history prevail, but the author did not bypass other areas, such as the development of the economy and culture.
