Summary
Viktor Frankl: Giving an answer to life - autobiography
I can easily express myself, but it is not easy for me to piss - writing requires great sacrifices from me. I have spent many Sundays, in good weather, sitting at my desk polishing manuscripts, although I would very much like to go hiking instead. My wife also had to sacrifice herself. Maybe Eli sacrificed even more than I did to get my life's work on its feet - there were a lot of sacrifices. She complements me, not only quantitatively but also qualitatively, what I do with my head she does with her heart, or, as professor Jakob Nidlman once beautifully formulated it, talking about how she always accompanies me when I travel to give lectures: she is the warmth that accompanies the light.
