Summary
Carl Gustav Jung: Psychology and Alchemy
Jung did not ask us to practice alchemy in order to better understand ourselves. With this research of his, in the book "Psychology and Alchemy", as well as numerous other areas from general psychology, psychiatry, parapsychology, mythology and religion, he encouraged us to set in motion the inner wheel of the self and then surrender to the magic of its metamorphoses. One of them may bring one of us back to the threshold of an old or new alchemical laboratory where, at some distant moment in time, we will discover what Jung himself could not discover in alchemy. Because alchemy is not nonsense. At least we can be sure of that after Jung's discoveries.
