Autobiographical writings of St. Patrika's Confessio, written in the 5th century, has been preserved in its entirety until today, more than 1,500 years after its creation, which makes it a unique and authentic source for knowledge of the life of that great saint, as well as for knowledge of late antique Christian thought. An ancient writing, short by modern standards, provides us with a fascinating insight into the life and work of this exceptional man whose memory is celebrated around the world every year. We bring this first Croatian edition of that work in a bilingual form, in the Latin original and in a Croatian translation, enriched with color illuminations for a unique reading experience.
This writing is an expression of my gratitude because God led me on the right path and revealed himself to me so that I can glorify him and confess his wonderful works before all nations under heaven.
