Summary
Hans Küng: Incarnation of God II
Introduction to Hegel's theological thought as a prolegomena for a future Christology Incarnation of God 2
The author is a Jesuit born in 1925 in Ireland. In addition to a thorough study of Zen Buddhism and meditation and a comparative study of Christianity and Zen, he worked on the revival of Christian contemplative practice and the creation of mystical theology for the 21st century, following the work of St. John of the Cross from the 16th century. In a new approach to mystical theology, the author departs from the traditional understanding that it is intended for monks who devote their whole lives to prayer and contemplation, and brings it closer to the laity, including even the topics of marriage and sexuality. It also includes the question of dialogue with Eastern religions, which are traditionally deeply contemplative, and it does not ignore the phenomenon of modern science, especially physics, specifically quantum theory, which today often "communicates" with God and faith.
