In past times, few original examples of the oral literature of BiH Croats have been written down. In this book there are only about thirty old records of oral stories, several oral dramas, one hundred and fifty proverbs and forty riddles. Collectors and recorders rewrote and interpreted oral stories and dramas and did not specify the place at the time of writing nor did they mention tellers.
In this book there are two hundred and forty contemporary records of oral prose, several examples of oral drama, four hundred proverbs and about seventy riddles. Most of the records were created between 1996 and 2005 (...)
