Utopija i poslednji dani - iz savremene ruske proze I-II

Jagličić Vladimir

Summary

Vladimir Jagličić: Utopia and the last days - from contemporary Russian prose

The well-known Serbian translator Vladimir Jagličić already has a substantial translation work behind him, which includes, in addition to his other translations, three anthologies from Russian literature: Anthology of Poetry of the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries (1994), Anthology of the Silver Age (2016) and Anthology of Russian Modern Stories of the Twentieth Century - in four volumes (from Tolstoy to Šargunov, 2014). Now he has prepared a selection from Russian prose, in new, so far unpublished translations, trying to present those books and writers that are less known to the Serbian readership, and at the same time to achieve a certain representativeness in the selection that would well represent some directions and tendencies in contemporary Russian prose art.   1. Konstantin Vorobyov (1919 -1975): My friend Momich 2. Yuri Nagibin (1920 -1994): My golden mother-in-law 3. Leonid Borodin (1938 -2011): Field of God 4. Oleg Pavlov (1970): Diary of a hospital guard 5. Ilja Kochergin (1967): The Chinese Assistant
