The book by a political scientist, political economist, publicist and longtime professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb brings "dynamic perspectives of social and partly humanistic sciences, with a focus on the "political". The book has two parts: the first part contains texts taken from an unfinished manuscript (the author died in 2013) created in the period 1998-2004, and the second part contains editorial selection of Dragutin Lalović from Strpić's extensive public and journalistic works in which he deals with the fundamental problems of the modern world with a special focus on the USA and Croatia.
