Summary
Saša Brajović: Lujo Davičo
Fragmenti života
Saša Brajović's book comprehensively illuminates the insufficiently known personality of Lujo Davičo, whose activities took place in the thirties of the last century. In addition to carefully collected, verified, researched and reliable information about the artist himself, ballet dancer, choreographer and pedagogue, a man of modern understanding, participant of the National Liberation Movement and, of course, anti-fascist Lujo Davič, Saša Brajović's text illuminates the place that his Jewish family had in pre-war Belgrade, depicts the context in which he was educated and worked, describes movement, obstacles and successes and lightly sketches the character. Characters such as Maga Magazinović, Rafail Blam, Vojislav Vučković, Josip Slavenski meet in the text... as well as collected valuable testimonies of those who knew him. More precisely, those who knew him and wrote something about him.
