When the television series of the same name was made based on that novel, she was already a world-famous writer. It's no wonder that as soon as "Jungle in the City" was published in 2005, television companies started competing for the rights to film the novel. NBC won and began filming the television series, which should be completed in 2007. C. Bushnell is also the author of the book of stories "Four Blondes" (2002) and the novel "The First Blonde" (2004).
