Marko Pranjić: On the Beginnings of European Education
In this book, the author uses the Iliad and the Odyssey as a starting point for detecting ancient European pedagogical records, that is, the first educational ideas in Europe, which later had a strong impact on pedagogical theory and practice. The figure of Telemachus, son of Odysseus, is especially considered, on whose example the fundamental ancient Greek educational procedures are explained.
