Oxford 1887

Dimensions: 15.5x22.5 cm

First volume 418 pages, second 397 pages, third 459.

Very well preserved copies!

In three volumes, Jackson provides an excellent overview of the history and geography of Dalmatia, Kvarner and Istria. He traveled throughout Istria and Dalmatia from Trieste to Kotor. In the first volume there is also a very nice folding map of Dalmatia and Istria. Jackson's travelogue is one of the most valuable and interesting travelogues in Dalmatia and Istria. All three volumes are in a uniform original hardcover with a spine decorated with gold printing, they contain a map and all the illustrations (more than 200, with details and inscriptions) and are in very good condition. The first and second volumes are dedicated to Dalmatia and the third volume is dedicated to Kvarner and Istria.
