The book Well-tuned politics - Memories of Stjepan Radić jr, author Marijan Lipovac and Jana Radić, brings memories of Stjepan Radić (1928-2010), pianist, music pedagogue and politician, grandson and namesake of the founder of HSS and the first democratically elected Croatian leader of the people.

Stjepan Radić Jr. showed a talent for music from childhood while growing up in an atmosphere of political tension and persecution to which his family and himself were exposed. The fact that he was the grandson and namesake of Stjepan Radić determined his life, during which music as his profession was constantly intertwined with politics.

After a successful career as a pianist and professor, with the advent of multi-party democracy, he became involved in active politics as one of the founders of the HSS and in independent Croatia became a member of parliament, vice-president of the Croatian Parliament and honorary president of the HSS.

Memories of Stjepan Radić Jr., supplemented by numerous contributions and memories of his contemporaries, are interesting biographical reading, but also a valuable and credible source for Croatian political and social history of the 20th century, as well as for the recent history of Croatian music.
