Anica Bošković: A conversation between a shepherdess and a varhu porodjegna: a gentleman's daughter from Dubrovnik
Bošković, Anica, Croatian poet (Dubrovnik, 3. XI. 1714 – Dubrovnik, 11–12. VII. 1804). Sister of → Ruđer Bošković. She was educated in Dubrovnik, where she socialized and corresponded with prominent people of that time. Her best-known work is the Christmas depiction in octogenarian verses of a religious-didactic character Pastor's Conversation with the Lord about the Birth of a Girl from Dubrovnik (1758). It is the only printed work by a writer in old Dubrovnik.
