Conscientious consideration of the issue of guilt for the war of 1914–1918, which is still relevant today, by order of the Reichstag in 1923, commissioned by the prominent lawyer and university professor Hermann Kantorowicz, completed in 1927, for a full 40 years it remained unpublished because its conclusions were not favored the German client. Fifty years after the German edition and 90 years after the creation of the work, we bring its first translation into Serbian.
There is nothing more difficult than judging someone else's guilt with full understanding - if one has an eye for hidden problems, and nothing easier than judging one's own guilt fairly - if one has an ear for the quiet, commanding voice of conscience.
