Dragana Stojanović: Interpretations of the mapping of the female body

The book deals with the research of the place of women through language, culture and art, that is, the issues of positioning female subjectivity at the intersection of corporeality and textuality. The book presents dialogues of different approaches to feminism and gender studies to this problem, as well as the issue (crisis / constant re-articulation) of subjectivity as such. Special attention is paid to women's writing in art and the issues of (not) the possibility of performing different, soft, different writing through language and art that would not necessarily serve as a basis for classical revolution and resistance (what is theorized as a patriarchal blade, phallocentric, Signifier), but as a basis for dialogue and creating space for each subjectivity in the formation/process separately. Poststructuralism, gender studies, feminism, postfeminism, art theory and theoretical psychoanalysis were chosen as textual platforms, and case studies from the field of art and culture were also discussed.

She expands her interests in gender studies, especially in the specific positioning of the female body and subjectivity in the field of language-representational spaces in the domains of art theory, poststructuralist studies, feminism, postfeminism and theoretical psychoanalysis.
