Nurko Karaman's Arabic-Bosnian school dictionary is actually a new edition of his Arabic-Bosnian dictionary for pupils and students (originally published in 1997). That earlier edition sold thousands of copies and proved extremely useful for learning Arabic in secondary schools and in the initial stages of university studies. This new edition has been further refined and expanded with a considerable number of new entries, bringing the total number of words to approximately thirteen thousand.

In terms of technical features, the new edition features a completely new design. Printing in a larger format improved the readability of the text and enabled easier and faster use, while the quality binding guarantees greater durability.
