The contributions of classical social thought to the study of war and violence, contemporary sociology and the paradoxical character of the modern era, the relationship between organized violence and social development, and war propaganda are some of the topics through which war and violence are presented as sociological processes and products of social development, relying on sociological theories, analysis of society and historical material.
