Literature with premeditation: the creative biography of Slobodan Selenić is the first book of its kind about the once most widely read, but today almost completely forgotten and marginalized writer. The extensive research carried out in this study is divided into three parts: the first is the reconstruction of the writer's biography based on extensive archival material (documents, letters, photographs, interviews); the second contains a thorough critical analysis and literary-historical contextualization of Selenić's oeuvre (novels, plays, theater criticism, journalism); while the third brings contributions from the writer's legacy (early novellas, unrealized scenarios, file with selected documentation). After the books on Borislav Mihajlović Mihiz and Vladan Desnica, the author brings another important writer back to the center of reader and professional attention, who was rather unfairly neglected by the domestic public.
