Problems of Language
The study of Maria Renata Mayenowa, longtime head of the Poetics project at the Institute for the Study of Literature of the Polish Academy of Sciences, professor of literary theory at the University of Warsaw, was published twice as a manual. Mayenowa's theoretical poetics is divided into seven chapters. In the first three, he deals with the definition of research methods, the history of the term "language", vocabulary and grammar or sign-making levels of language, in the next three, the structure of the text, the concept of style, stylization and stylistics, questions of verse and prose, while the seventh chapter is a kind of summary.
