A beautiful example of Rizzi-Zannoni's double-sided decorative map of Italy from 1770. The top sheet covers the area from Lake Geneva and the Venetian states southwards, including Rome, Corsica and the Capitan. It also includes the Gulf of Venice and the states of Dalmatia, Herzegovina and Murlaka. A large decorative cartouche with sun rays and numerous putti (small cherubs) is located in the upper right quadrant.
