Antun Rožić: Compendium totius orbis Geographicum I-II.

Antun Rožić was born around 1787 and died in Varaždin on June 3, 1848. 
Dedicating himself to the teaching profession, from 1817 until his death he worked as a professor at the Varaždin grammar school. 
At that time, he organized the high school library, served as deputy director, and in 1819 he received the honor of assessor of the County of Varaždin.
In addition to Latin grammar, he wrote several other works in Latin and Croatian, of which were published: Compendium totius orbis geographicum secundum novissimam provinciarum divisionem, Varaždin, 1821, Vocabularium iliti rechnik najpotrebneshe rechi vu treh jezikih zadersavajuchi, Varaždin, 1822., Kratki zavjetek zemeljzkoga izpiszavanya crovatske i vugerske zemlye, Varaždin, 1823., Small geography for beginners, Varaždin. 
He also wrote the Horvatzki ztoletni calendar from summer 1818 to 1819, published in Zagreb. 
He is mentioned as the author of several appropriate poems in Latin, and it is also stated that he is the author of two prose works - Pripovezt naroda horvatzkog od nyegovog pochetka do Ladiszlava kralya vugerzkog (1825), and Belitzar y Gelimer kralj Vandalski (1826). 
The listed poetic and prose works remained in manuscript.
